Leisure Seafood Restaurant Project High-end Furniture

From the initial design, spatial layout, custom furniture production to the final implementation of the soft furnishings, we have thoroughly dissected the entire process of this restaurant project.

3D Design and Space Layout Planning

  • The problem of intersection of movement paths

A common problem in many restaurants is that the customer flow and the service flow intersect, leading to chaos during peak hours. We placed the bar counter along the central axis of the restaurant, with the kitchen directly connected to the bar counter. The preparation and delivery of dishes are all completed within the bar counter area. The customer flow is divided into two paths from the entrance: one leads to the window-facing casual seating area, and the other leads to the bar counter area. This completely avoids the service flow, and even during peak hours, there will be no congestion.

  • The issue of space utilization

The client’s original requirement was to have a layout that included both table seating, booth seating and a bar area, as well as a brand display area. Through repeated adjustments using 3D modeling, we finally achieved the following: the bar area can accommodate 12 people, the table seating area has 8 tables, the booth seating area has 4 groups, and a brand display partition was also set up. At the same time, the aisle width was ensured to be no less than 1.2 meters, meeting both fire safety and operational requirements.

  • Lighting and atmosphere issues

The main lighting area of the restaurant is on the left. We have reserved all the window-facing positions for the booth area to maximize the use of natural light. At the same time, auxiliary lights were installed above the bar counter and in the open seating area. During the 3D stage, the light effects at different times were simulated, and the positions and power of the lamps were adjusted to avoid the problem of insufficient light on rainy days.

Decoration and Soft Furnishing

Lighting system: The main lighting is a rattan pendant lamp, which echoes the natural style and provides soft and non-straining light; auxiliary linear lights have been installed above the bar counter and in the seating area to supplement the local light and also to highlight the texture of the bar counter.

Wall decoration: The background wall of the booth area is covered with dark green soft materials and illuminated decorative panels, enhancing the spatial hierarchy; On the right side of the dining area, a brand-themed LED screen is installed, playing dynamic videos of the seaside to complement the seafood theme.

Green Plant System: A variety of tropical plants such as turtle-back bamboo, pothos, and hanging plants are arranged above the bar counter, beside the partitions, and near the windows. This design softens the harshness of the space and creates a resort-like atmosphere.

Detail soft furnishing: The dining table features a wooden placemat holder, ceramic tableware, and a rattan tablecloth, all in harmony with the overall style; it is also complemented by blue tablecloths of the brand color, further reinforcing the brand identity at the detail level.
